Richard O. DeWald, R.N., creates this site to be a place to publish his vision concerning how we can best care for each other as we approach and experience the end of life.  He also does all of the coding and technical wizardry on this site, and he finds it awkward to write about himself in the third person.  He's going to stop doing this now.
